Staniland Way – keeping disruption to a minimum

The design and build work for this new roundabout was carried out by the Peterborough Highway Services design and construction team. This was a 17-week construction programme to elevate the junction by 800mm in places and involved significant road realignment. Both teams worked together to implement a rigid management programme and shared best practise and knowledge to ensure Staniland Way was only closed for four weeks, which kept disruption to a minimum.
